At Dangote Cement, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Risk Officer to join our team. As a Risk Officer, you will play a crucial role in identifying and managing risks across our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Monitor and analyze risk indicators and report any deviations or emerging risks
- Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure risk management practices are implemented effectively
- Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management controls
- Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to risk management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Proven work experience as a Risk Officer or similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies
- Certifications in risk management (e.g. FRM, PRM) are a plus
