The International Water Management Institute (IWMI) hosts the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) in Accra, Ghana. IWMI seeks applications for the position of Executive Assistant to support the implementation of the ICRISAT-led SERVIR West Africa Phase 2 project activities. The Executive Assistant will report directly to the SERVIR West Africa Chief of Party (COP), who is posted at IWMI.
The primary responsibility of the Executive Assistant is to support the COP, and also provide support to the program management unit (PMU) (as instructed) to ensure that activity goals and objectives are accomplished, and operations run efficiently. The candidate will maintain and refine internal processes that support the program management unit, and coordinate internal and external resources to expedite the workflow; manage communication between key program personnel, consortium members and other partners, and liaise with internal and external personnel on various projects and tasks; and plan and orchestrate work to ensure the COP’s priorities are met, organizational goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld.
